In Loving Memory Of PJ
Pattie Joyce Kane (PJ)
July 24th, 1939 - December 5, 2018
PJ was a wonderful mother to five children. Debbie, Mike, Mark, Katie, Susan. She is survived by her three daughters. She always had a love for horses and that love was given to all her children. The first horse she owned was a half Arabian stallion named Tu-Bahd she purchased in 1968. This began her dream to own a horse farm that would board and train horses and give lessons.
In 1978 she purchased the first 10 acres of land to build her dream of a horse farm. That was the day Tu-Bahd Farms became a reality. Over many years barns and paddocks were built. She also expanded the farm with an additional purchase of 20 acres. Many families and children came to the farm to learn to ride and care for horses. Debbie, her oldest daughter, devoted her life to work along side PJ to create her dream of the horse farm. Over the years Debbie, Katie, and Susan competed, trained, traveled, and were extensively involved with horses.
In 2011 PJ and Debbie created Tu-Bahd Horse Rescue Inc., a non profit organization, devoted to rescuing abused and neglected horses. Today many horses are shipped overseas for slaughter. PJ's wish was to continue to rescue as many of these horses before they are sent over seas. To fulfill PJ's wish Debbie will continue to rescue abused, neglected, and slaughter horses.
PJ's request was in lieu of flowers to please donate to Tu-Bahd Horse Rescue, Inc.
Thank you for Donating!
